In the summer of 2025, the Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA), based in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, became the most recent Indigenous-led organization to deploy FireBozz as part of their community wildfire protection strategy. IFNA successfully mobilized 7 FireBozz units, with 7 more on order following a successful trial and activation.
While the photos are from a separate deployment in a rural Alberta setting, they represent the kind of terrain and infrastructure FireBozz is designed to protect — remote communities, forest edges, and wildland-urban interfaces.
As wildfires become more frequent and intense across northern Canada, IFNA is leading with action — not reaction. By investing in mobile wildfire protection systems, they’re ensuring communities are better protected, faster.
“Was able to use them, most impressed and want to buy 7 more".
— IFNA Operations Leader: Eric Hansen, IFNA Wildfire Specialist
